Chiropractic Adjustments/Manipulation: Refers to a chiropractor applying manipulation to the vertebrae (bones in the spine) that have abnormal movement patterns or fail to function normally. The objective of this chiropractic treatment is to reduce the abnormality, which results in an increased range of motion, reduced nerve irritability and improved function.

Cupping Therapy Rialto Riverside Myofascial Decompression Cupping Therapy: Myofascial decompression cupping therapy is being widely used in athletic training, physical therapy, and massage therapy offices. It is being used in the Olympic games for pre- and post-workout recovery and detoxification. It is used specifically to decompress adhesions and scar tissue, relax muscles in spasm, decrease trigger point pain, and decrease tissue changes and inflammation following trauma.

Myofacial Release: Which is soft tissue, muscle work that removes scar tissues and trigger points (lactic acid buildup) in muscles and connective tissues of the body. This results in muscle relaxation and reduction of referral pains, which is one of the causes of headaches and loss of range of motion in the body.

Therapeutic Ultrasound: Is a form of deep tissue heating using sound waves. When applied to soft tissues and joints, the sound waves are a form of micro-massage that help reduce swelling, increase blood flow, and decrease pain, stiffness, and spasms.

Electrical Muscle Stimulation: Uses of pads placed on or around the injured area  and/or muscle, which sends electrical pulses into the area. The uses of this is beneficial for reducing pain, increasing blood flow into the injured area, increasing healing. Also, it is sometimes used to prevent muscle atrophy by firing and activating the muscle, often seen in stroke patients, patients with neurological deficits, and/or post surgical patients.

Intersegmental Traction: Is used to increase joint motion. It distracts the joint increasing motion allowing for better increased range of motion, relaxation of muscles, and also can sometimes reduce compression on nerves allowing better blood and nerve flow.

Heat and Ice: Ice therapy is often used to reduce swelling and help control pain immediately after an injury. Heat therapy is used to relax the muscles, increase circulation, and can provide relief and relaxation to patients with chronic pain. Depending on the patient's condition, a combination of ice and heat can be used.

Athletic Taping: Use of both support and neuromuscular re-educational (elastic therapeutic) taping. This is often used for increased support in sports injuries and prevention of further injuries. Support taping is often seen in ankle injuries allowing for better support. Neuromuscular re-educational taping is often seen in active athletes allowing for better muscle fuction, by relaxing overuse muscles and rehabilitating to facilitate underuse muscles.

School Sports Physcials: We also examine students to make sure they are in optimal health to perform the needed rigorous tasks that are required in the sports they play.

truck DOT CDL Physcials: We also perform physicals for everyday truck drivers for them to receive or renew their license for the state of California, Department of Transportation
